Hey book nerds! :3 Happy New Years EVE! It's the last day of the year and I just wanted to say thank-you to all of the people who have started following me and have supported me since I started book blogging in September! ^.^ I love you guys. :3 I had a massive reading break before starting reading again in September, so I haven't read hundreds of books this year however I've read a wide variety of different ones. My journey of reading this year has been a great experience and I've tried to branch out in the genres I read. ^.^
There have been some books I've hated..alot! And wanted to smack...
Others, that I've really liked! :)
And of course, the ones that are incredible! So much so, that I'd actually do a little dance... :P
Today's post, of course, is going to be my favourite books of 2012. Not necessarily ones that were published this year, but ones I had the honour of reading this year! :D The books are in no particular order, they're all my favourites of the year and it doesn't mean I like one more than the other. ^.^ Have a great New Year and try not to party too hard! ;)

Title: The DUFF: Designated, Ugly, Fat, Friend.
Author: Kody Keplinger.
Genres: Contemporary, Young Adult.
Seventeen-year-old Bianca Piper is cynical and loyal, and she doesn't think she's the prettiest of her friends by a long shot. She's also way too smart to fall for the charms of man-slut and slimy school hottie Wesley Rush. In fact, Bianca hates him. And when he nicknames her "the Duff," she throws her Coke in his face.
But things aren't so great at home right now, and Bianca is desperate for a distraction. She ends up kissing Wesley. Worse, she likes it. Eager for escape, Bianca throws herself into a closeted enemies-with-benefits relationship with him. Until it all goes horribly awry. It turns out Wesley isn't such a bad listener, and his life is pretty screwed up, too. Suddenly Bianca realizes with absolute horror that she's falling for the guy she thought she hated more than anyone. And eventually, through this realization, Bianca begins to see how harmful her unhealthy way of dealing with her problems has been, and finds a way to confront them head on.

Until, with a tiny kiss and a broken mind, he asks for more than she can give.
Sam Donavon has been James’ best friend — and the boy Sarah’s had a crush on — for as long as she can remember. As their forbidden relationship deepens, Sarah knows she’s in trouble. Quiet, serious Sam has decided he’s going to save her. Neither of them realizes James is far more unstable than her father ever was, or that he’s not about to let Sarah forget her half of the pact

She feels (mostly) relaxed about the future in which her husband and career will be decided, and looks forward to turning 18, when she’ll be cured of deliria, a.k.a. love. She tries not to think about her mother’s suicide (her last words to Lena were a forbidden “I love you”) or the supposed “Invalid” community made up of the uncured just beyond her Portland, Maine, border. There’s no real point—she believes her government knows how to best protect its people, and should do so at any cost. But 95 days before her cure, Lena meets Alex, a confident and mysterious young man who makes her heart flutter and her skin turn red-hot. As their romance blossoms, Lena begins to doubt the intentions of those in power, and fears that her world will turn gray should she submit to the procedure.
